I was couch-surfing and staying with a friend of mine. I decided to go out to a Negative Approach show in Los Angeles. When I was in the pit, I actually flew into somebody and knocked him over.

I apologized to him after the show. It was the same guy I knocked out at the show. Were you familiar with Crystal Castles at all? Your new album, Amnesty I , comes out Friday. What was the recording process like?

We recorded in this old house that was turned into a studio in London. Did you believe him? I like to have an open mind. Do you think this heavily influenced the direction of the album, sound-wise? Aggressive Bittersweet Druggy.

I asked him not to and he pulled me by the foot and I hit a monitor from a degree angle in my ribs. She worried about blood clots and brain trauma.

She was dating Keyes by the time Crystal Castles were supporting Depeche Mode in September ; as they drove away from the last date, she knew it was over. She is not surprised that Kath continued the band with another young, female singer who looks just like her. Part of Glass leaving entailed coming to terms with the fact that she probably would not be a musician any more.

One of the songs the pair recorded, "Alice Practice," was something of an accident: it was intended to be a demo of Glass testing out a microphone, but its presence on MySpace piqued record labels' interest.

Kath and Glass worked on their own songs and also honed their remixing skills, tweaking songs for Klaxons as well as GoodBooks , Uffie , Health , and Bloc Party.
